and Eindhoven. 1973-1998 drawing-teacher at the Academy of Art in Tilburg.

Since 1987 Harry Vlamings is making autonomous artistsbooks as a natural sequel to a serie of about seventy scetchbooks.
He represented The Netherlands for the third time on the “Biennale
du livre d’Artiste” in St. Yrieix-la-Perche (France)
As a member of the “Société des Lettres, Sciences et Art de la Corrèze” he did preliminary historical research and made drawings for the restauration of the romanesque church of Lubersac (Fr)
Publishing firm Philip Elchers (contemporary art in bookformat in Groningen) brings out two books in silkscreenprint.

Harry Vlamings (Steenbergen 1938) lives and works in Tilburg.
EDUCATION
Academy of Visual Arts in Tilburg. Taught on Graphic Institutes in Amsterdam and Eindhoven and worked as a teacher at the Academy of Visual Arts in Tilburg (1973-1998).
Make drawings, paintings, murals, graphics, artists’ books, reliefs in mixed media.

Steenbergen, ’750 years Nassau-stad’. Design of memorial book, illustrations, posters, leaflets, etc., sets and murals realized.
1984
2 anamorphotic objects, S.I.O.-school-’t Zand’ in Tilburg.
2000-2004
2 stained glass windows in the NH Kerk in Oostvoorne.
16 miniature glass panels (The Creation story) in the parish church in Maarssen.
4 windows in the apse of St. Gummaruskerk in Steenbergen.

4 polychrome reliefs in the facade of homes in the Mariastraat in Tilburg.
2009 “Deeper than Fingers’ exclusive poetry with Jasper Mikkers (edition 30 pieces)
EXHIBITIONS.
In various galleries across the country and abroad, incl. Tilburg, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Eindhoven, Vlijmen, Roosendaal Oss, Bergen op Zoom, Paris, Tulle, St Yrieix-la-Perche.
Represented the Netherlands at the 3rd, 4th and 5th Biennale de Livre d’Artiste in St. Yrieix-la-Perche.
